Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Odds

The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2023 and 2024, but came up just short in 2025 as they tried to hit the unprecedented three-peat. The Eagles smoked them, 40-22, and it was never close from the beginning. The Chiefs will have their shot at revenge on September 14 with a Week 2 Super Bowl rematch.

They have the fourth-best odds to win it again at +850, just a touch behind the Eagles at +750. With training camp beginning though, we've seen both the Bills and Ravens climb above the Eagles, who used to be at +650. Buffalo and Baltimore are now the joint leaders at +700. They both have revamped talent, and seem to be continuing to progress in the right direction as the Chiefs may be falling behind a touch.

Kansas City Chiefs Win Total Odds

The Chiefs have a win total set at over/under 11.5, often with the over at +110 odds or more. The Chiefs are facing a top-10 most difficult schedule, and an added suspension to star receiver Rashee Rice that should be coming down from the NFL any day now.

The Chiefs weren't an offensive juggernaut in 2024 like the one's seen in years past, but they were instead buoyed by a top-5 scoring defense that allowed just 20.5 points per game, and helped carry them to the Super Bowl. They didn't lose many players from the Super Bowl roster outside of safety Justin Reid, and will have Nick Bolton and Chris Jones anchoring this defense again.

The main question will be if the offense can keep up and have Mahomes engineer enough regular season wins to go over this total against a difficult group of opponents. They start off with the Chargers, Eagles, and Ravens in three of their first four games, which could easily all be losses, especially without Rice. Kansas City Chiefs Odds To Make the Playoffs

The Chiefs are nearly a lock to make the playoffs, coming in at -450 odds. A lot would have to go wrong for this unit to not make it, like a 49ers full meltdown with injuries as we saw a year ago. San Fran was also the runner up, and totally fell apart despite a weak division around them.

Based on the sportsbook odds, KC has a more than 81% chance of seeing the postseason. They haven't missed in over a decade, and with the Mahomes + Andy Reid experience level at this point, they should coast in if healthy. Even if they somehow lose the AFC West to the Broncos or Chargers, there should be room to slide in the wild card in the worst case scenario. I may not see them going far in the playoffs compared to the past few years, but they won't have a problem arriving.

Kansas City Chiefs AFC West Odds

The Chiefs are still the favorite in the AFC West once again, starting at -105 odds. They could and should turn to plus odds if the tough first few games don't go to plan, so this isn't a number to buy in the preseason. But they haven't lost the AFC West since 2015, and while the opponents are improving, it's tough to say they don't win it again here.

The only other three teams to be minus-odds in the division race is the Bills, Ravens, and Eagles, aka all of the Super Bowl contenders.
