In what is a Super Bowl dominated by each defense, Jason Myers, who is now 4/4 in field goals may be shaping up as a leading contender for the Super Bowl MVP at +850.
Sam Darnold and Kenneth Walker are still likely candidates, and should they throw or rush for a couple of touchdowns in a Seahawks win, either will likely take over, while Drake Maye cannot be counted out, given the Patriots can come from behind to win.
If the Patriots do win, it will almost certainly be driven by passing touchdowns, so Maye makes plenty of sense in the betting, if you think the Patriots can make it back from here.

If Darnold takes over in the second half and leads his team successfully down the field a couple of times for at least a pair of touchdowns, he's almost certainly going to win the award, which is why he's being kept onside by the sportsbooks. With JSN now possibly out with a concussion this could make things harder.

A kicker has never won Super Bowl MVP, but he's also the only player on the field to score points so far with 4 completions. If the Seahawks coast to victory behind another couple of field goals in the second half, it would be really hard not to rewrite history and give a placekicker the Super Bowl MVP award for the first time.
