3 Minute ReadKenneth Walker Now the Favorite For Super Bowl MVP
In what is a Super Bowl dominated by each defense, Kenneth Walker, who gained 100+ scrimmage yards, and the 2nd-most rushing yards in the first half of a Super Bowl in history, is now the new Super Bowl MVP favorite.
Sam Darnold is still a likely candidate, and should he throw a couple of touchdowns in a Seahawks win, he will likely take over, while Drake Maye cannot be counted out, given the Patriots can come from behind to win.
If the Patriots do win, it will almost certainly be driven by passing touchdowns, so Maye makes plenty of sense in the betting, if you think the Patriots can make it back from here.

Kenneth Walker III (+120) Check out these best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook
Kenneth Walker III is the shortest in the market for a reason. With the second-most first-half rushing yards in Super Bowl history, and no touchdownsthrown in the first half by either quarterback, he is the obvious favorite until anything dramatic changes.
There's also a good chance he scores the first touchdown and reaffirms his position.
Sam Darnold (+260) Check out these best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook
If Darnold takes over in the second half and leads his team successfully down the field a couple of times for at least a pair of touchdowns, he's almost certainly going to win the award, which is why he's being kept onside by the sportsbooks.
Drake Maye (+550) Check out these best odds at bet365 Sportsbook
The Patriots are far from out of this. A couple of quick touchdowns will put them in the mix, so let's not rule out the underdog here. He was already the underdog coming into the game, and that's certainly the case now at halftime, but can he pull off a great comeback?
If he does, he will be the Super Bowl MVP.
Jason Myers (+1600) Check out these best odds at bet365 Sportsbook
A kicker has never won Super Bowl MVP, but he's also the only player on the field to score points so far. If the Seahawks coast to victory behind another couple of field goals in the second half, it would be really hard not to rewrite history and give a placekicker the Super Bowl MVP award for the first time.
