Bryson DeChambeau is a former U.S. Open winner, so the LIV golfer will be well-prepared for his third major appearance in 2024.
Oddsmakers are bullish on DeChambeau at Pinehurst No. 2 this week. He's available as short as 18-1, while his best odds are currently at 25-1 over at Caesars Sportsbook. We've seen DeChambeau record a T6 finish at the first major during The Masters, while he came even closer with a solo runner-up finish at the PGA Championship at Valhalla last month.
PGA handicapper Matt MacKay is back to share the latest odds for DeChambeau in several betting markets ahead of the 2024 U.S. Open, which will be making its return to Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina for the first time since 2014.

Most sportsbooks have DeChambeau at +1800 odds in the outright winner market, but at +2500, Caesars is offering quite a bargain on him.
The driver is undeniably potent off-the-tee, which bodes well for DeChambeau's outlook at Pinehurst No. 2 this week. We watched him become better and more consistent with his irons from Augusta to Valhalla and it's obvious that DeChambeau is hungry for another major win, adding to his 2020 U.S. Open win at Winged Foot Golf Club.
A 0.10 unit wager staked on DeChambeau returns 2.5 units of profit, but if you're willing to go up to a 0.25 unit wager, it's warranted on a golfer with the talent and power that he possesses.

FanDuel has DeChambeau valued at +400 in the top-five finishing position market at Pinehurst No. 2. It's almost a no-brainer, until you look at how he's fared at previous U.S. Open events that weren't his win at Winged Foot.
DeChambeau has never recorded a top-five finish outside of his win in 2020 during a U.S. Open event. However, we did see him push Xander Schauffele to the brink with a clutch birdie putt made on the 72nd hole at Valhalla.
As long as DeChambeau can stay consistent with his approach shots and putter, which is a big ask for the latter, we've got a realistic chance of seeing him wind up in the top-five of the final leaderboard on Sunday at Pinehurst No. 2.

+200 for a top 10 finish on DeChambeau also feels like good value but upon closer inspection, he's never recorded a top-ten barring the outright win in 2020.
Despite the lack of historical success at the U.S. Open, DeChambeau has recorded finishes inside of the top-ten at both previous majors this year. He appears to be on a mission to get his second U.S. Open victory and his strength off the tee aligns well with the rigors of Pinehurst No. 2, which runs over 7,500 yards as a par 70.
A one-unit wager is sufficient for betting on DeChambeau to record a top-ten finish this week. Just be mindful of dead heat payouts and anticipate a slightly reduced payout if there are a lot of golfers who finish inside of the top-ten with a relatively high score at Pinehurst.
