Brooks Koepka is gearing up for his 11th U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 this week. Koepka is one of the golfers in this field that has previous experience playing at this venue, recording a T4 finish at 1-over-par in 2014.
We have yet to see Koepka record a top-25 finish at a major in 2024, although he's experienced success at LIV this season. Oddsmakers have him valued highly at 20-1 odds in the outright winner betting market ahead of his return to Pinehurst No. 2.

Koepka has five major wins, including two U.S. Open victories, recorded at Erin Hills and Shinnecock Hills in back-to-back outings in 2018 and 2018.
He's strong off-the-tee and has a lot of confidence based on historical success at majors, but Koepka needs to bring his A-game at Pinehurst No. 2 to contend against this loaded field.
At 20-1 in the outright winner betting market, oddsmakers are giving Koepka a 4.7 percent chance to record his third U.S. open win this week. A decade ago, Koepka did wind up inside of the top-five at this course, although he finished with a final scorecard of 1-over-par. A 0.10 unit wager returns two units of profit, which is sufficient for Koepka's outlook at Pinehurst No. 2 this week.

Koepka has a variety of finishes at recent U.S. open events since going back-to-back in 2017 and 2018. The Florida native recorded a T17 finish at LACC in 2023 and a 55th-place finish at The Country Club in 2022.
However, in 2019 and 2021, Koepka wound up inside of the top-five at both U.S. Open events, bringing his total top five finishes at this major to five. At 4-1 odds, half a unit is enough to bet on Koepka for a top-five finish, since he played well at Pinehurst No. 2 in 2014. However, be weary, as Koepka has yet to show his best stuff at a major in 2024.

Koepka is receiving +200 odds to record a top-10 finish at Pinehurst No. 2 this week. It's not great value, considering he either winds up inside of the top five or falls outside of the top 10 at this major.
Factoring in dead heat grades reduces the payout based on how many other golfers finish inside of the top-ten. There could be a lot of players inside the top-ten due to the difficult scoring conditions at Pinehurst No. 2, which would drop Koepka from 2-1 to possibly even odds or shorter.
