Viktor Hovland has competed in the Masters four times, and in those four events, he hasn't missed the cut.

Last year, he finished T7 with a -6 score. That was his best Masters finish of his career. His previous best was 21st in 2021.

Over the last couple of years, Hovland has continued to improve. He finished 27th in 2022 and, again, placed seventh last year. However, while he's had success making the cut, he's only made it into the Top 20 one time in the Masters.

With seventh place last year, Hovland can start a streak of top-ten finishes in the Masters with another strong performance in 2024.

Viktor Hovland hasn't had much success this year. He's got just one top-20 finish in five starts. He's struggled Around the Green and has ranked outside the top 190 on Tour.

Still, we can't forget about Hovland's T7 finish last year. It was his best finish at the Masters. Plus, he's never missed the cut, which at least gives you hope heading into the weekend with Hovland still golfing.

It's unlikely he wins. He's probably also unlikely to make it into the top ten. The most realistic hope for Hovland is making it inside the top 20 this year.

Hovland was at his best in last year's Masters after tying for seventh place. That still wasn't good enough to make it inside the top five. Hovland had a terrific year last season, earning three wins without missing the cut.

However, the 26-year-old isn't the same as last year.

The +300 odds probably aren't worth taking a gamble on Hovland.

Hovland has been shaky throughout the year. But he now knows how to navigate the Augusta National and should at least get through the first two days and make the cut.

He's made the cut in all four of his other Masters appearances and shouldn't have a problem doing that again this weekend.
