TIGER WOODS 2024 MASTERS ODDS, BETTING PREVIEW, AND PREDICTIONS

The most legendary golfer of all time is returning to Augusta National to tee it up at the 2024 Masters. Tiger Woods, who is now 48 years old and recently removed from several surgeries on his leg and back, will compete for the first time this season.

Can Tiger, who is a five-time winner at Augusta National, find a way to run the table to get his sixth green jacket? Or will the aging star wind up struggling to make the cut line, which has become a recurring trend in his last several PGA Tour appearances. Below, we'll dig into the odds and find out which markets contain the best value to wager.

TIGER WOODS MASTERS ODDS: WINNER +20000 (BET $100 TO COLLECT $550)

There's a reason we're seeing 200-1 odds on Tiger Woods to win his sixth Masters. Not only has he been out of competitive golf for several months, but the 48-year-old had to withdraw from the Genesis Invitational after going +1 in the opening round in mid-February. Two months removed from this withdrawal, Woods is now attempting to record another Masters win like he did in 2019, which was his second to last outright win on the PGA Tour. As tempting as this bet looks, I want no part of making this wager, even as small as a 0.10 unit investment.

TIGER WOODS MASTERS ODDS: TOP 5 FINISH +2500 (BET $100 TO COLLECT $550)

A top-five finish for Woods is available at 25-1 odds, which further demonstrates oddsmakers' lack of confidence in the aging superstar. He's alongside Kurt Kitayama and Adrian Meronk in this market, signaling that it's going to be an uphill battle to climb to produce a top-five finish. Once again, we're fading Tiger at +2500 for a top-five finish.

TIGER WOODS MASTERS ODDS: TOP 10 FINISH +1000 (BET $100 TO COLLECT $550)

It starts to get a little more tempting to take Tiger for a top-ten finish at Augusta at 10-1 odds, since he's recorded dozens, if not hundreds, of top-ten finishes in his career. However, if we're full fading Woods' ability to contend atop the leaderboard, a top-ten finish is almost no more valuable due to his ailments and inability to finish weekends. Oddsmakers are likely counting on bettors to go all in on Tiger, per usual, but we need to resist the temptation.

TIGER WOODS MASTERS ODDS: TO MAKE THE CUT -118 (BET $100 TO COLLECT $550)

Here we go. The sweat is on with Tiger making the cut at -118 odds. He has identical odds for making and missing the cut, so it's truly a 50-50 proposition that we must weigh. In 2023, Woods made two of three cuts, but he did wind up withdrawing from The Masters after going +3 in the first two rounds. Allegedly, he looks better than ever, per Will Zalatoris, but it's hard to decipher exactly what that means.

Since Woods is only two months removed from a withdrawal at The Genesis Invitational, I'm opting to place a unit on him missing the cut once again, knowing that a withdrawal nullifies a missed cut prop bet. He simply doesn't have enough in the tank to compete against the field due to his current physical condition. Oddsmakers are banking on the public going heavy on Tiger props, so we have to avoid becoming a victim and wager the most realistic outcome.
