How Does the Kick of Destiny Work?

Peyton and Eli Manning will go head-to-head in the Kick of Destiny 3 to see who will come out as the winner.

Each will attempt to kick a 25-yard field goal in a sudden-death battle. If the first kicker makes it, the second kicker is given a chance to tie. If the first kicker misses, the second kicker is then given a chance to win. If both kickers miss, they will move 5 yards closer; if both make it, they stay put until there's a winner.

If there is no winner after three rounds, the Manning Brother to kick it closest to the center target on the net in the third round will win.

What Time is the Kick of Destiny?

The Kick of Destiny 3 will take place at around 3pm ET on Sunday, February 9. It will be broadcast live on FOX during the Super Bowl pre-game show.

How Far is the Kick of Destiny 3?

Both Manning brothers will begin by attempting to make the kick from 25 yards. If neither is successful, they will then move a bit closer to 20 yards.

If, however, both manage to kick it successfully on their first attempts, both Peyton and Eli Manning will stay put on 25 yards for the second round.
