There have been some stunners in the first year of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The biggest stunner of them all was Manchester City's loss to Al-Hilal in extra time. Al-Hilal has been super competitive, but after the group stage, it truly felt like Manchester City would win it all.
With Manchester City no longer in the tournament, Paris St. Germain (PSG) is the new favorite heading into the quarterfinals, followed by Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup Betting Favorites
Paris Saint-Germain (+250)
Paris Saint-Germain is +250 to win the FIFA Club World Cup. However, they're facing Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals and would likely have to face Real Madrid in the semifinals, before making it into the Finals.
This is a tough draw for Paris Saint-Germain. There will be no "easy" games for PSG. In some instances, they may not even have the most talented roster. They don't have someone who can control tempo and make plays deep. The tea just revolved around Mbappe and Dembele, hoping they could stretch defenses.
Real Madrid (+275)
Real Madrid is the heaviest favorite to win their quarterfinals matchup this weekend. Real Madrid has conceded just two goals in four matches in the Club World Cup.
Additionally, Real Madrid has players who can help with pace and creativity like Vinicius Jr. They've also got depth that their next opponent Dortmund simply doesn't have.
Speaking on depth, Jobe Bellingham is suspended and won't be in Dortmund's lineup for this game. It's likely Real Madrid controls their game against Dortmund.
Real Madrid is a better bet than Paris Saint-Germain right now.
Chelsea (+450)
Chelsea escaped Benfica in extra time, 4-1, after a long weather delay late in the game. Chelsea had been up 1-0 in the 86th minute, but eventually conceded a goal after Benfica was given a red card. Ultimately, once extra time began, Chelsea took advantage of the red card for Benfica and scored three goals in extra time.
Chelsea should be able to dominate possession in their game against Palmeiras. They'll also look to attack wide against a Palmeiras defense that is typically very good. As long as Chelsea doesn't get too frustrated with Palmeiras sitting compact, Chelsea should survive the quarterfinals and make the semifinals against Al Hilal or Fluminense.
Chelsea is on the "easier" side of the bracket. They're a solid bet to win it all at +450, especially with momentum on their side.
Bayern Munich (+600)
Bayern Munich has won seven of its last eight meetings against PSG. They've also held PSG scoreless in their previous four games against them.
Don't be surprised if Bayern stuns PSG in an epic game on July 5. However, after defeating PSG, Bayern will likely be underdogs against Real Madrid in the semifinals. Madrid would likely control the tempo and squeeze out a win in what could be a high-scoring game.
Bayern is still a good buy at +600. You can hedge this bet if Bayern wins over PSG and make a profit nonetheless.
