The 2024 WWE Royal Rumble is finally here. While CM Punk and Bayley lead the way for oddsmakers favorites to win both rumble matches, 29 other men and women will look to secure their spot at April's WrestleMania with a win, including dark horse Gunther.
The Road to WrestleMania is officially upon us, as the 2024 Royal Rumble is set to get underway on Saturday night from St. Petersburg, Florida. Thirty men and thirty women will participate in each rumble match to headline this weekend's premium live event. In addition to both rumble matches, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will defend his title against Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight in a rare four-way battle. He will try to hold onto the belt that he's maintained for over three and a half years. After that, Logan Paul will continue his rise to the top of the WWE world as a heavy favorite over Kevin Owens in the United States Championship.

Men's Royal Rumble Match Breakdown
The odds have been flying around in the Men's Royal Rumble match, where 30 competitors will duke it out for the top spot. Gunther has seen his odds soar from over +1000 to just +188, only a few days before the bout. He is a dark horse to take down the favorite CM Punk.
Last year, Cody Rhodes won as a +125 favorite over The Rock, Sami Zayn, and other stars. Rhodes is another contender in 2024 to defend his title, but may not be able to overcome the competition this time around. While the Rock can always make some noise as top four contender, it looks like CM Punk or Gunther are destined to grab a victory in this banner event.

Women's Royal Rumble Match Breakdown
The Women's 2024 Royal Rumble match is stacked with a field of returning competitors and familiar faces. Bayley leads the pack as the favorite, and has gotten some steam momentum behind her as the week progresses up to the match.
Last year, Rhea Ripley was a -150 favorite, giving her a 60% shot to get the win. She capitalized on those odds to get the win, and we expect a similar result from this year's favorite. Bayley is sitting with -110 odds as the leading contender, and she should be able to taste victory on Saturday night. Becky Lynch and Jade Cargill will put up a fight with close odds, but Bayley has received the influx of bets after starting at +135 odds, and we are going to follow the money on the favorite.

The title of Undisputed WWE Universal Championship will be fought for in a rare 4-way fatal match on Saturday night in St. Petersburg. 2023 champ Roman Reigns will look to defend his title against the likes of Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and previous challenger LA Knight, and he's a massive favorite to get the job done.
Reigns took down Kevin Owens in this event last year, but it was just a two-man battle. He was a -900 favorite in that one, which is much lower than the expensive odds he holds one year later. He's -3000 in this one, and it's hard to think that he goes down to anyone, even in a four way battle. Reigns is at the top of the WWE Universe, and has been holding this belt for 1244 days after he initially won it in 2020. Can anyone take him down? The odds don't make it seem very likely.

Logan Paul has seen a meteoric rise in the WWE ranks, becoming a superstar face in the league. Paul made his WWE debut in 2021, and signed a multi-year contract in the summer of 2022. Paul has dabbled in boxing with his brother, but has excelled much more in the WWE ring over the past few years. He will now take on Kevin Owens for the United States Championship on Saturday night.
Nicknamed the Maverick, Paul has had some great performances over his first two years. In November, he took Roman Reigns to the wire in Saudi Arabia, gaining a lot of respect from fans and the organization. He is now someone who is trusted as a -2000 massive favorite in a headlining event, something he should win easily as he continues to climb to stardom.
