The thirty-six-year-old was +2800 with one US sportsbook pre-competition, which means if you placed a $50 wager on Johnson winning the Travelers Championship, you would now be collecting $1,450. However, it pays to use Oddschecker to get the best odds, as one sportsbook had Johnson at just +2500.
Kevin Streelman finished a credible second in Cromwell after hitting four rounds under 70, Streelman was a massive +15000 before the first shot was taken at the Travelers Championship.
With the US Master only being a few months away, every result and even every shot has big implications on the betting ahead of November's showdown. During the four days in Connecticut, bettors have been keen to back Johnson for Augusta success. He's accounted for just under 26% of bets in the last four days, which makes him the most popular bet in the market this week ahead of Bryson DeChambeau.
Duston Johnson remains +1800 to win the US Masters with one US sportsbook, but is as short as +1400 with others. The former world number one is currently 6th favorite in the market behind Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods.
Abraham Ancer's current form has made him a popular pick for the US Masters. The Mexican's odds have been cut by the majority of sportsbooks, and despite being +18000 with one operator he's as short as +10000 with a couple of others.
