A few shrewder golf operators have decided to give Brandt Snedeker a play this week in the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Online bettors haven’t been shy in following in these golf handicappers, as the thirty-nine-year-old has been the most backed for the upcoming PGA tournament.

Snedeker finished T41 last week in the Travelers Championship, and has just one top-ten finish to his name in 2020, which came at the Famers Insurance Open. The surge in bets on the American has seen bookmakers cut his odds since the start of the week. As mentioned, he’s now available at +4000 with most operators, but he was as big as +5000 twenty-four hours ago.

Brandt Snedeker has accounted for just under 7% of all bets placed on the Rocket Mortgage Classic this week. The second most backed golfer has been Bryson DeChambeau. There’s no doubting that DeCahmbeau is playing his best ever golf, however, bookmakers have been quick to react to this and have made him +600 to win the Rocket Mortgage Classic. His current odds are likely to be lowest they’ve ever been before a PGA event.

Viktor Hovland’s also been playing impressively since the PGA Tour re-started, and he’s been the third most backed for the upcoming tournament. Hovland can currently be backed at +1800 to claim victory.
