French Open 2020 Odds: Rafa Nadal Preferred Over Novak Djokovic By Bettors

It’s been pure dominance at the French Open from Rafa Nadal so far, he’s lost just 23 games in four matches. Unsurprisingly, that’s resulted in plenty of confidence in the 19-time Grand Slam champion from sports bettors.

The Spaniard has been the most popular in the betting markets in the past 48 hours, surpassing the betting favorite Novak Djokovic with the quantity of wagers. Nadal has taken up 31.72% of total bets on the French Open winner market as momentum begins to build for yet another win at Roland Garros.

Nadal faces off with Jannik Sinner today in the Quarter Finals and he’s hugely expected to advance into the Semi Finals without any problems. Sportsbooks have him at -2000 (1/20) to win today – meaning a $20 wager wins $1 profit!

Novak Djokovic, the bookmaker’s favorite to win the French Open, is also through to the Quarter Finals after a convincing fourth round win over Karen Khachanov. Djokovic hasn’t been quite so popular with bettors in the past couple of days, with just 22.01% of total bets on the winner market, but that doesn’t stop the books from making him the favorite.
