Masters Leaderboard & Current Odds: Jordan Spieth The Favorite After Round 2

Thursday’s opening round of the Masters was completely dominated by Justin Rose. Rose shot a 7-under par, four strokes clear of 2nd place, and looked to be in complete control. But, on Friday, Rose stalled, shooting even par while the rest of the field went low.

So, while Rose stayed at 7-under, guys like Will Zalatoris, Marc Lieshman and former Masters Champion Jordan Spieth took advantage and moved within striking range at 5-under in second place, with guys like Brian Harman looming and still on the course.

Two strokes off the lead is still a decent way back, but with 36 holes to play it’s far from unlikely. In fact, oddsmakers are so impressed with how Spieth has played recently that he is officially the favorite to win the Masters after Friday.

Jordan Spieth’s pre-Masters odds: As of Wednesday night, Spieth was +1100 to win this year’s green jacket, tied for the second shortest odds with Bryson DeChambeau and trailing just Dustin Johnson (+900).

Jordan Spieth’s Masters odds after Round 2: After Friday’s performance moved Spieth to a tied for 2nd with Leishman and Zalatoris, Spieth moved into the favorite spot with best odds of +450.

Rose has the second shortest odds in the field at +600, tied with Justin Thomas. Tony Finau (+1500) and Hideki Matsuyama (+1600) round out the top five. Leishman sits at +2000 while Zalatoris is +2200 to win the Masters.
