Serena Williams' French Open 2021 Odds, Betting Preview & Predictions
Serena Williams’ French Open 2021 Odds
The GOAT may be on the back nine of her career, but Serena Williams still has plenty of game left in her. Could the 2021 French Open be her first Grand Slam since 2017 and her 24th Grand Slam ever? I’m certainly not counting her out, even if Serena Williams’ French Open odds aren’t as short as you might expect.
Serena Williams has made four Grand Slam finals since 2017, but she’s yet to win one. In her career, she’s reached 33 Grand Slam Finals and won 23 of them.
With just a few days left before the start of the tournament, Serena Williams’ French Open odds sit at +2500, the eighth shortest in the field. But, it’s quite a long ways off from when she would come into events as the odds-on favorite.

Serena Williams’ French Open Record
Serena Williams is the greatest tennis player to ever pick up a racket, but if there is a Grand Slam at which she’s had the least amount of success, it’s the French Open. Williams has “only” three French Open singles titles in her life. For comparison, she’s won the Australian Open and Wimbledon seven times and the US Open six times.
Williams’ last win at Rolland-Garos came in 2015. Serena Williams made the French Open final in 2016 but was knocked out in the 2nd round in 2020. It remains to be seen which version of Serena Williams we’ll see this year.
French Open 2021: Serena Williams Preview
Any shot I get to take the greatest tennis player ever at +2500, I’m jumping at it, and that’s exactly the case with the 2021 French Open odds. Last time we saw Serena Williams, she was bounced form the Australian Open in the semifinals. I think she’ll make it at least that far this time around.
You have women like Naomi Osaka, Iga Swiatek, Ashleigh Barty and Aryna Sabalenka that are all threats to win it, and probably more likely than Serena. But, when they’re on the other side of the court from Serena Williams, will they shrink in the moment? I’m taking a little sprinkle Serena Williams and hoping we can hit those +2500 French Open Odds.
