2021 US Open Odds: Brooks Koepka & Louis Oosthuizen Charge Up The Leaderboard

Play was cut short on day one of the 2021 US Open but despite the shortened playing time there was still plenty of movement on the US Open odds board. 

Louis Oosthuizen was one of the biggest movers on the opening day of the 2021 US Open, the South African was +5000 going into day one of the major, however he finished the day third-favorite at +800.

Oosthuizen is tied at the top of the US Open leaderboard alongside Russell Henley, however, Oosthuizen still has a couple of holes to finish off on day two. 

There were some injury concerns surrounding Brooks Koepka coming into the 2021 US Open, however, he soon calmed any worries. Brooks Koepka shot an opening 69 which has placed him T5 on the US Open leaderboard. 

Brooks Koepka's US Open odds were +1800 before the tournament, however, those have been slashed to +750. 

Jon Rahm was the big betting favorite heading into the 2021 US Open. The Spaniard remains at the top of the 2021 US Open odds market due to being two under with one hole remaining. 

Justin Rose was probably one of the biggest disappointments on the opening day of the US Open. Rose is seven over after seventeen holes, which has led his odds to rocket. Justin Rose's US Open odds now sit at +250000. 

Jordan Spieth is another who struggled on the opening day of the US Open. Jordan Spieth was heavily fancied coming into the 2021 US Open, however his odds have gone from +2000 to +50000 after the opening 18 holes.

2021 US Open Betting 

Since play was suspended at the 2021 US Open, Rory McIlroy has been the most wagered player in the US Open odds market. 

Rory McIlroy's US Open odds sit at +1400, and he's accounted for 11.3% of bets after the opening day. 

Louis Oosthuizen has been the second most wagered player in the market, he's accounted for 9.6% of bets placed. 

Richard Bland has been a very popular bet after the opening day of the US Open. Bland finished the day one under, and his current US Open odds sit at +30000. Despite his long odds, online bettors have been willing to take a chance on Bland, he's accounted for 6% of bets placed in the odds market.
