How to refer a friend to Kalshi
- Open the Kalshi app and go to Referrals in the menu.
- Copy your personal referral link.
- Send it to a friend who doesn't have a Kalshi account.
- Your friend signs up through the link and verifies their identity.
- Once they reach $25 in trading volume, you both receive your referral credit.
Promo code or referral link: which should a new user choose?
A new Kalshi account can only use one sign-up code. If you're joining for the first time, you can either enter promo code ODDSCHECKER for the $25 welcome credit, or join through a friend's referral link so you both earn a reward. Both are worth up to $25 to you. Existing users can't add a new sign-up code, so the referral program is their way to earn more credit.
Why refer friends before the midterms?
Friends who sign up now can trade the biggest markets of the year while they're live. As of October 31, Kalshi prices Democrats at about 91% to win the House and 70% to win the Senate, with close races in Texas, Michigan, Ohio, Maine and Iowa. A friend's $25 in trades is easy to reach: 100 contracts at 25¢, or about 38 Senate contracts at 65¢, gets them there.
