The final game I am ready to dive into tonight takes us into the late-night action on the diamond and I am excited for this game. The Miami Marlins are in enemy territory for a clash with the Philadelphia Phillies in the City of Brotherly Love and this should be the best wild card series of them all. I think the Phillies have dark horse potential for a run at the National League Pennant this year, the only problem is they have to find their way through a stout Miami Marlins team who are going to throw the kitchen sink at them.

Zach Wheeler is an exceptional starting pitcher who thrives at home and loves the big moments; I have no lack of confidence in him whatsoever and I know he will throw the ball well tonight. The veteran is 10-4 with a 2.48 ERA and a plethora of postseason experience. On the other hand, I am slightly worried about Jesus Luzardo suppressing these Philly bats. Jesus Luzardo has held the Phillies to a lowly OPS of just .602 this season but if you look into the games he did catch them in a few advantageous spots.
When you factor in home-field advantage, the revenge factor for the batters and the fact that it is virtually a must-win playoff game, I think things level out. The Phillies get really fired up at home and I know how passionate those fans are; Harper and the boys feed off that energy and I expect Wheeler to throw like the ace he is. Give me the Phils at home.
