The San Francisco Giants and the New York Yankees will duel things out from the Big Apple on Wednesday afternoon on Opening Day. Baseball is finally back, and I could not be more fired up! This is also a beautiful day for us gamblers. We get to watch and gamble on games from 1 pm ET till 1 am ET. This also means that we will have something to bet during the day till the fall daily.

New York Yankees vs. San Francisco Giants Prediction
The Giants enter this season after a disappointing campaign. The Giants turned in their best season in franchise history in 2021, and they followed that up with an 81-81 season a year ago.
San Fran is poised to rebound this year and find their way back into the postseason. The Giants are led by Gabe Kapler, who has done a solid job since coming over from Philadelphia. San Fran brings back the bulk of their roster from a season ago.
One guy that they did sign in the off-season was former all-star Michael Conforto, who did not play last season as he was dealing with an injury. They will send all-star Logan Webb to the bump tonight to try and shut down this high-powered Yankees lineup.
On paper, few teams are better than the Yankees. This lineup is loaded and headlined by the reigning MVP, Aaron Judge. The biggest story in the off-season was the Yankees being able to re-sign Judge, who is coming off of a career year. This is essentially the same exact Yankees lineup that we saw last year. As always, in New York, the expectations for this team are high this year.
I am going to back the Yankees on the -1 line today. I think that we see New York come out and turn in a strong offensive performance today. On the flip side, the Yankees will send Gerrit Cole to the mound. Cole remains one of the best arms in baseball, and this is a Giants lineup that does not strike much fear into me.
I expect Cole to come out and shut down the Giants today. If the Yankees can get a lead early, I trust their bullpen to take us home and cash us in. Let’s start the season with a bang!
