Philadelphia Phillies vs. Texas Rangers Prediction
Texas remains one of the few undefeated teams in baseball as they took games one and two from the Phillies. Texas fell behind in game one, 5-0, but their offense exploded, and they were able to outlast the Phillies, winning the game 11-7. They followed that offensive performance up with yet another gem when they dropped sixteen runs yesterday. The impressive part about these two games www the fact that they were able to put up runs against two of the best arms in baseball, Aaron Nola and Zack Wheeler. Texas is a team that has been aggressive the last two years in free gameday, adding stars like Marcus Semien, Corey Seager, and Jacob Degrom in the last couple of seasons.
The Rangers are hopeful that those moves pay off this year and that they are able to make a post-season run. The Phillies, meanwhile, got hot at the right team a season ago and won the national league a season ago. The Phillies would eventually fall to the Astros in game six of the World Series. Philly is slated to be one of the best teams in the national league as they bring back the majority of their roster and added superstar Trea Turner. The issue early in the season for the Phillies has been injuries. They will likely be without Bryce Harper for the first two months of the season, and they lost Rhys Hoskins for the season. That will force other guys to step up in the meantime. Tonight Philly will send Bailey Falter to the mound. Opposing him will be fellow southpaw Martin Perez.

The bottom line is I fully expect a big-time performance from Philly today and for them to get their first win of the new season.
