The New York Mets and the Milwaukee Brewers will clash for game two of this series on Tuesday night. The Brewers won game one with ease as they jumped out to an early lead, and they never looked back. Brewers starter Freddy Peralta was lights out, and the Brewers used the long ball to pace them to a 10-0 win.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. New York Mets Prediction
The Mets have very high expectations after a disappointing end to their season last year. New York was in first place essentially all season long in the NL East, but a late-season collapse moved them to a wildcard spot. As if that was not bad enough, the Mets would go on to get swept by the San Diego Padres in the playoffs.
New York was aggressive in the off-season as they looked to improve an already talented roster. The Mets went out and signed reigning Cy Young award winner Justin Verlander and re-signed outfielder Brandon Nimmo. Verlander will begin the year on the DL, but he is slated to be back by the summer.
Milwaukee, meanwhile, has one of the best starting pitching rotations in baseball when healthy. The issue at times for the Brewers is their offense, but if they are locked in on all ends, this could be a scary team. Tonight's pitching matchup will be Max Scherzer vs. Wade Miley.
I am going to back the favorite and trust the Mets tonight with Max on the mound. I absolutely love this spot for the Mets after being completely shut down yesterday. Their hats should come out hot, facing a below-average arm in Wade Miley.
