The Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Diego Padres will duel things out from Petco Park on Tuesday afternoon for game one of this three-game set. The Padres saved our day yesterday when they stormed back in the ninth inning with back-to-back home runs by David Dahl and Ha-Seong Kim. The Padres led for the majority of the game, but an Evan Longoria home run in the top of the ninth put the Snakes ahead. Luckily for us, their lead was short-lived.

Today we will see a great pitching matchup between Zac Gallen and Yu Darvish. Gallen is coming off the best year of his career, going 12-4 with an era of just 2.54. Gallen will look to rebound from a rough start against the Dodgers when he went just 4.2 innings, allowing five runs. Darvish, meanwhile, is coming off a highly productive season where he won sixteen games and sported an era of 3.10. Darvish will be making his first start of the season and will look to limit this D-Backs lineup.

I want to first give a huge shoutout to the Padres for last night because if they had lost that game, it could have been a rough night. With that said, I have to fade the Friars today.
