Mike Trout (LAA) 2 total bases
Mike Trout is going to be the popular play, but the truth is there may not be a bad option against Patrick Corbin, as he’s a member of the permanent fade team. Trout’s odds (-135) are tough, so we pivot to Brandon Drury, who bats .299 off LHP, while Corbin allows righties to bat .324 off him. Drury also hit a dinger last night, so let’s hope he carries some momentum forward.
Paul Goldschmidt 2 total bases
Paul Goldschmidt bats a .425 lifetime off of German Marquez in 46 plate appearances, and I expect him to keep that going tonight. Goldy hit four home runs and four doubles (on top of nine singles).
Adolis Garcia (TEX) 2 total bases
In 15 plate appearances, Adolis Garcia has seven hits, including three singles, three doubles, and a home run. He’s batting .538 off Zack Greinke and is much better against RHP.
Julio Rodriguez (SEA) 2 total bases
This guy has continued his tear from last season and is in a good spot tonight. Julio Rodriguez finds a way to get on base, and we all know the kind of power he possesses.
