Jacob deGrom owes us after the NRSI earlier in the season. He looked much better last start against the Baltimore Orioles, allowing just one run through six innings of play. Tonight I like him to dominate, but also that the Texas Rangers bats to stay hot.

Last night we saw Texas massacre Kansas City 11-2. The game prior for Texas, we saw them score run eight runs in that contest as well. 19 runs in two games is outstanding, and they get a plus matchup here in Jordan Lyles. Kansas City allowed five runs last game to the Toronto Blue Jays in 5.2 innings pitched. The Texas bats are 17-51 against him, which is good for a .333 batting average.

deGrom owns these Kansas City batters. The Royals bats are 4-38 against him for a .105 batting average and not even one RBI. deGrom is due to a masterclass shutout game, and this could be it. Kansas City bats .175 against righties on the year and arguably gets the scariest one here today.
