I expected Atlanta to be juiced much more here on the moneyline. Max Fried is on the bump for Atlanta, and he has been lights out with a 0.60 ERA over his three starts this season. The Mets hit lefties worse than they do righties, and Fried has a nice history against them, winning three of his five games against them last year.
I also love the Braves' offense tonight. They get David Peterson, who has been abysmal lately. The man has allowed 20 earned runs in his last 20.2 innings pitched. Not to mention, the Braves absolutely crush left-handed pitching. Atlanta slashes .288 against Southpaws; it’s their biggest strength as a team.
We have the better pitcher and the better offense. The bullpens are comparable, but we have the overall advantage. Atlanta is also 10-2 on the road, and for whatever reason, they are much better as the away team. This team will come to your city and provide a quiet ride home for the fans. Let's hope that trend continues, and let's roll!
