MLB Parlay Today: Building Around Royals vs. Orioles, Rockies vs. Brewers

Baseball betting expert Krabs cooked up a plus-money MLB parlay for tonight's slate. Read on to find out why he's eying the Kansas City Royals vs. Baltimore Orioles game and the Colorado Rockies vs. Milwaukee Brewers game.

MLB Parlay Today: Building Around Royals vs. Orioles, Rockies vs. Brewers

There aren’t many times when betting a parlay is a smart move. 90% of the time, parlays should be used for fun/smaller wagers. There are a few instances where parlays can be profitable if used in moderation. When betting on baseball, and there are two road favorites that you like, a two-leg parlay can be useful. Instead of laying both teams on the runline, parlaying two road favorites on the moneyline has been a profitable MLB betting system of mine for years. Tonight, we are blessed with a rare “two-piece” MLB parlay opportunity as the Orioles head to Kansas City and the Brewers head to Colorado.

MLB Parlay Today

Don’t look now, but the Baltimore Orioles have the third-best record in baseball. The O’s have won eight of their past ten games, scoring five or more runs in four of their previous five. The Royals are in the exact opposite spot, with only seven wins through their first thirty games. This Royals team is bad; there’s no other way to really put it. Ranked as the second-worst offense in baseball, it won’t get any easier for the Royals as they face Tyler Wells. The young righty carries a 2.79 ERA this season and looks the best he has in his entire career. With Ryan Yarbrough on the bump for Kansas City, the chances of the Royals pulling out a win tonight are slim to none. Back the red-hot Orioles and Tyler Wells to take care of business and defeat the Royals on the road.

Ryan Feltner has pitched a little too well for the Rockies this season. The young righty had a 5.83 and 11.37 ERA in each of his past two seasons but currently sports a 4.68 ERA in 2023. Here’s the kicker: Feltner has only pitched at Coors Field once this season, and it was against the lowly Nationals. Tonight, he welcomes one of the best offenses in baseball to Coors Field. Five members of the Brewers' starting lineup have odds shorter than (+420) to go yard tonight; even at Coors Field, this is unusual. It looks like the oddsmakers are expecting a Brewers home run derby in Colorado tonight.

Freddy Peralta looked great in his last outing, pitching six innings of two-run ball. The hard-throwing righty ranks in the 76th percentile in average exit velocity, which should come in handy pitching at Coors Field tonight. Both Kris Bryant and Charlie Blackmon carry sub-1.88 batting averages against Peralta in their careers. Back the Brew Crew to take care of business in Colorado tonight, and don’t be surprised if you see Rowdy Tellez hit his ninth home run of the season.

Backing the Orioles or Brewers on the moneyline as straight bets just doesn’t feel right. When you parlay them responsibly in a parlay, the odds end up around (+150). Back two of the best teams in baseball to take care of business on the road tonight.
