For anyone unfamiliar, we are not taking the under for the whole game. That is an under for just Cleveland not to score 8+ runs on their own. You can place this bet as a Same Game Parlay under the “Innings” and “Game Props” tab.
Gerrit Cole is the main man we are trusting. We need him to keep up his stellar performance this year. Cole has already played Cleveland this year and pitched seven innings of two-run baseball. In the second inning, he wasn’t scored on, which is a great sign for us. We get to avoid dangerous bats with Steven Kwan and Jose Ramirez.
We need just three outs in the second inning from Guardians rookie Tanner Bibee. In his MLB debut, he looked rock solid against the Rockies, allowing just one run in 5.2 innings. With the unfamiliarity towards him, I think he has a decent first run through the order. We avoid Aaron Judge as he’s on the ten-day injured list and should avoid scary bats with Anthony Rizzo and Gleyber Torres.
This game's total is just seven runs. Cleveland would have to hit the over by themselves to ruin our juice reducer, and they’re facing Cole, who has a 1.11 ERA in over 40 innings pitched this year. Six outs and a dream is something that has done us well, and we love the second inning being able to mostly avoid MLB’s finest bats like J-Ram or Rizzo. Let's roll!
