Sonny Gray can’t keep this up forever but we just need one clean inning from him. The man is cruising this year with a 0.77 ERA and an undefeated record. The player that performs the best against Gray on Cleveland is Kwan and he should be batting leadoff tonight like usual. Gray will eventually throw a stinker but today doesn’t feel like that time just yet.
Logan Allen is on the other side for us. He only has two starts to his name, but he has shown signs of elite stuff. Allen has allowed just 3 runs in 11 innings and now faces a Twins team that bats .194 against lefties. Combine the unfamiliarity with that and he should continue his hot start to his early career.
This game's total is 7.5 at some places and 8 at others which is a great sign. A low total with two hit pitchers is a prime reason to take an NRSI. Factor that in with less-than-scary bats and we have a bet worth taking. Let's hope for 6 outs and a dream yet again, let's roll!
