The Miami Marlins and the Colorado Rockies will duel things out from the Mile-High City on Wednesday night for an inter-league matchup. The Rockies took care of the Marlins last night, winning the game 5-4. They will have an opportunity to sweep Miami tonight and improve their record to 22-28.

Colorado Rockies vs. Miami Marlins Prediction
Entering the year, Colorado was slated to be the worst team in their division, and so far, that has held true. This team still lacks pitching, and their offense has been inconsistent at best this year. Today their offense will be challenged as the reigning Cy Young award winner Sandy Alcantara will toe the rubber.
Alcantara, who is coming off the best year of his career, has really struggled this season, supporting a record of just 1-5 and an era of 5.05. That has put the Marlins in a difficult spot, as they expect him to be much better than his numbers indicate. Opposing Alcantara will be 25-year-old right-hander Karl Kauffman, who has had limited experience at the major league level. Kauffman is 0-1 with an era of 8.31 this year.
I am going to back the Fish tonight and take them on the -1 line. Miami has been struggling as of late but facing Kauffman tonight in the mile high, I feel as if their bats will show up. On the flip side, Alcantra is much better than his numbers show, and you have to expect him to turn things around sooner than later. I feel as if that will be tonight!
