MLB Same-Game Parlay Picks Today: Marlins vs. Angels, Phillies vs. Braves

We've got plenty of action for today's MLB slate.

There's even a game at 11:35 am between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays.

Dodgers fans can wake up and start watching their favorite team play. That's legit!

But I'll be looking at some of the later games tonight. The Marlins vs. Angels matchup will be shown on MLB Network at 4:07. Meanwhile, tonight's ESPN game at 7:08 between the Phillies and Braves is another game I'm eying.

Therefore, I've assembled a couple of same-game parlays for those two nationally televised games tonight.

MLB Same-Game Parlays for Sunday

Marlins vs. Angels Same-Game Parlay

3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+491) (Bet $100 to collect $591) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

  • Eury Perez Over 5.5 K's (+120)
  • Mickey Moniak Over .5 Hits (-220)
  • Patrick Sandoval Under 4.5 K's (-120)

Eury Perez has struck out 27.1% of batters over the last 30 days. He's not getting many grounders and giving up plenty of line drives. But I don't think any of that will matter tonight.

He's taking on an Angels lineup that has struck out 26.8% of the time against righties over the last 30 days. This projected lineup has only earned 5.6% of walks. They're aggressive and swing and miss a lot.

Perez should get at least six strikeouts if he can go five innings.

However, I still like Mickey Moniak to get a base hit. In his last 32 plate appearances against righties, he's hit a .516 ISO and wOBA of .550. He's also smacked 25% of line drives and has a .563 BABIP.

Finally. I've got Patrick Sandoval going Under 4.5 K's. It's not because I think he'll pitch terribly. I think he'll pitch to contact. He's earned 14% of strikeouts over the last 30 days and will face a Marlins lineup with at least three batters striking out 5% or fewer. It's going to be tough for him to rack up high strikeouts.

Phillies vs. Braves Same-Game Parlay

3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+735) (Bet $100 to collect $835) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

  • Spencer Strider Over 8.5 K's (-136)
  • Matt Olson Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)
  • Marcell Ozuna Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)

Over the last month, Spencer Strider has struck out over 40% of batters. He'll take on a Phillies projected lineup with five players striking out at least 24.3% of the time. He'll likely face some of those guys twice and earn multiple strikeouts against select batters.

On the other hand, Dylan Covey will start for the Phillies. He's allowed an ISO of .318 to his last 22 lefties and a .200 ISO to his last 17 righties faced.

Matt Olson, a lefty, is hitting a .265 ISO and wOBA of .378 against his last 87 righties. Meanwhile, Marcell Ozuna slugged a .348 ISO and wOBA of .465 against his last 53 righties. Those two have a ton of potential to earn extra-base hits tonight.
