Both teams are hopeful that they will return to the postseason this year, and both teams have gotten off to pretty good starts.

Seattle Mariners vs. New York Yankees Prediction
New York enters play tonight playing to the tune of a 30-26 record which is impressive considering they are playing in the best division in baseball. The Yankees are led by the American League’s reigning MVP, Aaron Judge, who has picked up right where he left off. Judge leads the American League in home runs with seventeen, including two home runs that he hit last night in the
Yankees win. Seattle, meanwhile, has stayed around the .500 mark this year. This talented team got better in the off-season and feel they can make some noise if they do enough to get into the postseason. Tonight the Mariners will send one of their young stars to the mound as Logan Gilbert will toe the runner. Opposing Gilbert will be Nester Cortes, who is coming off of an all-star season.
I will be taking the home team to get the win tonight and put my money on the Mariners. We took the Yankees last night, and they came through for us, but I feel as if we are getting the Mariners at a great price today with Gilbert on the mound. Gilbert has been solid this year for the Mariners and has thrown his best at home. He is holding opponents to an average of just .160 when he pitches at home this season.
