Baltimore Orioles vs. Kansas City Royals Best Bet: Do Tyler Wells, Orioles Have an Edge Over Royals?

Well, the Baltimore Orioles lost their last series. Still, they were able to avoid the sweep against the Milwaukee Brewers in their 6-3 win yesterday, and they now have a chance to roll that momentum forward into a fresh series tonight against a very poor Kansas City Royals squad. At just 18-44 on the season, things are beyond just spiraling, and I am all about the team that is trending in the right direction tonight.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction

Kansas City is 9-21 on the road this season, which is not much worse than their home record, but that is pretty much my point; they aren't really winning anywhere. They rank among the lowest five teams in the league in regard to scoring, and I do not see them improving their standing in that category tonight. Tyler Wells is 4-2 with a 3.29 ERA and has allowed three or fewer runs in one of 12 starts this season.

Daniel Lynch has the ball for the Royals and has seen very limited time this season. Lynch is not awful but is sub-par at best, and with the squad, he has playing behind him, I do not expect an overly inspired start.

No reason to dive much further into this one. I love when Baltimore is at Camden Yards, and I think the juice is worth the squeeze tonight in a good spot for a motivated team against an inferior opponent.
