Let's finish off this holiday weekend strong. I've got three strikeout props that I'll be adding to my betting portfolio today. Let's get right to it!
June 18 Best MLB Strikeout Props
Ronel Blanco Under 5.5 Ks -132 is currently the best odds. Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
Ronel Blanco has struck out just 20.4% of batters over the last month. Blanco has low strikeouts and high walks. He's walked 14.3% of batters in the last month.
High walks never help a starting pitcher. With walks come high-pressured situations and higher pitch counts.
Blanco will have to fight through a Reds lineup that is very hot too. The Reds have hit a .341 wOBA against righties with their projected lineup over the last month. I don't think Blanco pitches more than five innings today. Take his Under.
Jon Gray Over 5.5 Ks +120 is currently the best odds. Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
Jon Gray isn't getting enough love. Gray has struck out 28.3% of batters in the last month, including 29.7% of lefties and 27% of righties.
He's earning high strikeouts against both sides of the plate and has limited teams to a .084 ISO and wOBA of .201 in the last 127 plate appearances.
The Blue Jays don't strike out a whole lot against righties. I get that. But in the projected lineup, Toronto still has three batters striking out at least 23.2% of the time in the last month. They've also got five batters striking out at least 19.2% of the time. Gray's numbers indicate that he'll pitch deep into this game. He'll likely see this lineup at least twice and potentially three times. Gray needs six strikeouts at plus money, which is very attainable. I'll take it.
Hogran Harris Under 4.5 Ks -122 is currently the best odds. Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
Hogan Harris has been a bright spot for the Athletics this season. But he's struck out just 19.6% of righties over the last month as a left-handed pitcher.
Harris will face just two lefties and seven righties in the Phillies lineup today. Philadelphia has struck out at a high rate. However, Harris doesn't have put-away stuff, especially against right-handed batters.
Look for the Phillies to stay aggressive. They won't work walks, but they'll put the ball in play against Harris to keep his strikeouts down.
