Tonight the San Diego Padres are up the coast to battle with their division rival San Francisco Giants, and I expect us to see fireworks. The offenses are swinging the sticks well, and anytime these squads clash in a series, things tend to escalate. We cashed in on this total in the first game of the series and just missed our chance last night.

San Francisco heads into this game riding a nine-game win streak in which they have scored 76 runs.
I’m going to say that again, 76 runs in nine games.
They are swings sticks unbelievably well right now, and I know the bats will have the chance to stay lively tonight as they face Yu Darvish, an arm they have seen and gotten to plenty of times before. They are slashing .273/.340/.540 against him, with a decent sample size behind those numbers.
San Diego needs to try to squeeze a game out of this series, especially after the demoralizing outcome of getting walked off on in back-to-back games already this series.
The Giants appear to be going with a bullpen game with Ryan Walker starting, so the Friars should have the chance to see a lot of arms and get after a few, but they need to stay competitive. Right now, the Giants just want it more, and they are playing with more heart and grinding out wins. San Diego should show some of that tonight.
Like Monday, the wind is once again blowing out with gusts of 20-plus miles an hour; the over has cashed in for seven games of the Giants' nine-game win streak.
