MLB Best Bets: Yankees vs. Rangers, Orioles vs. Mariners

I like this MLB slate for tonight. So I thought I'd share my best bets for two of the game. I'm looking at the New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers and the Baltimore Orioles vs. Seattle Mariners.

New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers Prediction

The Yankees are 41-34 on the season but are just 4-6 across their last ten games and have scored just 12 runs in their last five. The Rangers are 4-1 across their last five and have scored 31 runs in those games. I really like the more talented team to keep taking care of business at the plate tonight and put up some runs. Clarke Schmidt has been very unimpressive this season, sporting a 4.65 ERA to go along with his record of 2-6 heading into this game. The expected slash line against Schmidt for the Rangers is a strong .302/.377/.529.

New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers Pick

Baltimore Orioles vs. Seattle Mariners Prediction

Well, Baltimore has been phenomenal offensively this season and are even better when they are at Camden Yards. Tonight, they host the Mariners, who historically have hit Kyle Gibson well, so I expect the Orioles to go out and give him some run support or have to get some runs back if he gets lit up early.

Logan Gilbert is much worse on the road, and I love everything the Orioles are doing at the plate right now. The over is a solid play as well, but I like trusting Baltimore to do their part tonight. All three games in the last meeting between these squads in Baltimore flew over.
