There's plenty of action throughout the day in the MLB. We've got multiple games on MLB Network tonight. I'll focus on the 4:00 pm ET game between the Diamondbacks and Giants.
After that, we can change the channel to ESPN to watch Sunday Night Baseball between the Dodgers and Astros.
Let's try and hit a same-game parlay or two tonight.
MLB Same-Game Parlays for Sunday
Diamondbacks vs. Giants Same-Game Parlay
3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+740) (Bet $100 to collect $840) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
- LaMonte Wade Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
- Joc Pederson Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
- Corbin Caroll Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
We should see a lot of runs come in with this game. Ryne Nelson will get the call for the Diamondbacks, and he's been terrible against lefties. He's allowing an ISO of .340 and wOBA of .428 to his last 55 lefties. He's not getting a high rate of grounders and giving up over 56% of hard contact.
LaMonte Wade and Joc Pederson are slugging from the left side against righties. Wade has a .194 ISO and wOBA of .374 with just 17.7% of strikeouts in the last month against righties. Meanwhile, Pederson has hit a .205 ISO and wOBA of .427 against his last 54 righties.
On the other hand, Anthony DeSclafani will take the hill. He's also been terrible against lefties for the Giants. He's allowed his last 57 lefties to hit a .235 ISO and wOBA of .403. Corbin Carroll is a lefty, hitting a .417 ISO and wOBA of .489 against righties in the last month.
Therefore, I'm stacking the lefties with this parlay.
Astros vs. Dodgers Same-Game Parlay
3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+244) (Bet $100 to collect $344) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
- David Peralta Over .5 Hits (-195)
- Freddie Freeman Over .5 Hits (-250)
- Tony Gonsolin Under 4.5 Ks (-148)
Hunter Brown will get the start for the Astros tonight. Brown has been very good for most of the season. Expect this since lefties are hitting a .246 ISO and wOBA of .327 over the last month.
That's the one area to attack tonight.
David Peralta has hit a .408 wOBA and has struck out only 14.3% of the time against righties over the last month. Meanwhile, Freddie Freeman has limited strikeouts to 20% and has hit a .342 wOBA against righties in the last month.
Meanwhile, Tony Gonsolin will get the start for the Dodgers. He's only earned 20.2% of strikeouts over the last month. The Astros have struck out 22.5% of the time but only have three batters striking out more than 22.5% of the time against righties. Gonsolin is really good at limiting fly balls, but he's a guy who will get outs with balls in play. I'll finish this parlay with his under on strikeouts.
