Baltimore Orioles vs. Cincinnati Reds Prediction: Expect the Bats to Dominate Andrew Abbott, Tyler Wells

Well, we were on the total in the Baltimore Orioles vs. Cincinnati Reds last night and are going right back to the well this evening. I was slightly worried we wouldn't get the game in with the rain delay, but once that was over, they cleared the total by three for us in a 13-run ball game.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Cincinnati Reds Prediction

Baltimore jumped all over Cincinnati once play resumed and won by a rather wide margin at 10-3. Cincinnati has now dropped three straight after winning 12 consecutive games, and I expect a really strong effort out of the squad this evening.

The pitching matchup tonight is much more promising, with rookie Andrew Abbott on the bump for Cincinnati, sporting a 1.14 ERA and riding a four-game win streak into this game. Tyler Wells has the ball for Baltimore and is sporting a 6-3 record with a 3.22 ERA.

Normally I would not jump all over a total when I think the starting pitchers can throw, but both of these guys are young, and with the way these two teams are swinging the sticks, at least one squad is bound to open up the scoring for us. I will bite on this low total and trust that the plethora of scoring we have seen these two teams produce lately and at Camden Yards all season continues.
