MLB Same-Game Parlays for Wednesday
Astros vs. Cardinals Same-Game Parlay
3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+407) (Bet $100 to collect $507) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
- Christian Javier Under 5.5 Ks (-146)
- Miles Mikolas Under 3.5 Ks (+122)
- Brendan Donovan Over .5 Hits (-210)
Christian Javier has struck out just 11.6% of batters in the last month. He's only struck out 19.4% of righties and 7.3% of lefties.
On the season, Javier has struck out 31.4% of righties. He's trending downward right now.
The Cardinals' projected lineup has struck out 23.4% of the time against righties. However, they've got five batters in the lineup, striking out 22.2% of the time or fewer. I'll trust the Cardinals to put the ball in play.
That includes Brendan Donovan, who has hit a .388 wOBA and has struck out only 14.5% of the time against righties in his last 76 plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Miles Mikolas will get the call for the Cardinals. He's struck out just 13.1% of batters in the last month. He's been dominant, but that's because of weak balls in play. He's not getting high strikeouts. The Astros have five batters striking out 21.2% of the time or fewer against righties. They should also put the ball in play regularly against Mikolas.
White Sox vs. Angels Same-Game Parlay
3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+794) (Bet $100 to collect $894) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
- Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)
- Mickey Moniak Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
- Andrew Benintendi Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)
Lucas Giolito will get the start for the White Sox. He's earned high strikeouts and has kept walks down. However, he's allowed a high ISO to lefties, giving up a .273 ISO to his last 36 lefties faced.
Giolito rarely earns ground balls and has given up nearly 48% of fly balls with 73.9% of hard contact over the last month to lefties. Shohei Ohtani is the most lethal lefty on the planet. He's hitting a .521 ISO and wOBA of .550 against righties over the last month.
Mickey Moniak should be batting leadoff tonight. He's another lefty, hitting a .360 ISO and wOBA of .492 against righties in his last 53 plate appearances.
On the other hand, Jamie Barria will take the hill for the Angels. The right-hander has been atrocious against lefties in the last 30 days, allowing a .286 ISO and wOBA of .504 to his previous 33 lefties faced.
Andrew Benintendi will be one of three lefties in tonight's White Sox lineup. He's hit a .155 ISO and wOBA of .398 against his last 64 righties. He's also limited strikeouts to 10.9%. He's got great potential tonight at the top of the order for the Sox.
