As a contrarian, I get told my bets look crazy almost daily. The fact that Outman hasn’t hit a home run this month only makes me like the bet even more. There are plenty of baseball-related reasons why Outman is getting out of his cold spell and hitting a home run tonight…
For starters, the Dodgers play the Colorado Rockies tonight at Coors Field with a total set at 12. There will be plenty of offense in this game tonight; we saw 17 runs in last night’s affair. Secondly, Chase Anderson got rocked for 16 runs in his last start, allowing five home runs. Anderson has allowed ten home runs this month alone. This one might get ugly for the Rockies…
Outman’s odds to hit a home run tonight are also shorter than I expected. At (+425), Outman is the same odds as CJ Cron and Nolan Jones to “go yard” tonight.
