It'll be Freddy Peralta on the mound for the Brewers tonight, and I'm fading him.
Peralta has struggled against lefties, allowing a .222 ISO and wOBA of .339 against his last 62 lefties. He's not earning high strikeouts against lefties and has given up 42.5% of fly balls to lefties as a right-handed pitcher.
Jack Suwinski has slugged a .326 ISO and wOBA of .364 against his last 59 righties. Meanwhile, Carlos Santana, a switch-hitter batting from the left side, has smacked a .190 ISO and wOAB of .320. Both of these batters have struck out under 20.5% of the time against righties and should put the ball in play with hard contact.
On the other hand, Osvaldo Bido will take the hill for the Pirates. I've been impressed by Bido. He's struck out 25.4% of batters, including 33.3% of lefties in the last 30 days.
The Brewers have more lefties than righties in tonight's lineup. They've also struck out 27.2% of the time against righties in the last month as a projected lineup. Bido's got plenty of targets. Five strikeouts seem very possible if he can go at least five innings.

The Angels have destroyed left-handed pitching over the last month. The projected lineup has hit 30.8% of line drives and fly balls and has minimized ground balls to 36.1% while hitting 63.7% of hard contact.
They'll face Tommy Henry, who has struck out only 18.7% of batters in the last month. Henry has also struck out just 15.4% of batters this season. Therefore, it's likely that the Angels put the ball in play a lot against Henry with hard contact.
Taylor Ward will lead things off. He's hit a .332 wOBA and has struck out only 6.9% of the time against lefties. He's also hit plenty of fly balls and lots of hard contact against righties in that time.
The same could be said for Trout. He's got a low ISO and wOBA, but he's hit 43.8% of fly balls and line drives with 68.8% of hard contact.
Finally, Chad Wallach has smacked 53.8% of hard contact and 30.8% of fly balls and line drives. We'd need just one base hit out of Wallach.
