Luke Weaver is arguably my favorite pitcher to fade. The man has thrown 64.2 innings and still has a 6.96 ERA. He has allowed 3+ runs in 11 out of 13 games and is currently on a streak of six straight games.
Washington Nationals vs. Cincinnati Reds Prediction
The Washington Nationals aren't a flashy team, but they have scored 3+ in the first five innings of both of their July games this year. The Nationals bat a respectable .251 against right-handed pitching and get one of the league's best throwers of meatballs.
If you don’t have this market, then I like Weaver o2.5 earned runs as a pivot, and hopefully, Washington doesn’t score on errors that would cause the main bet to win but the pivot to lose. Weaver will go six innings at the absolute most but more than likely just five or so.
This game has a total of 10.5 runs; we know the Cincinnati Reds should score too, but I like both sides here. We don’t trust Washington bats often, but I trust them here, and let's roll!
