Stuart Durst's Premium Blue Jays vs. White Sox Picks

I give my favorite hit parlay and longshot bet in today’s star-studded Toronto Blue Jays vs. Chicago White Sox game. While there are a lot of noticeable names in these two lineups, find out why I’m turning to a savvy veteran.

Brandon Belt 1+ Hit/Osvaldo Bido No Win (-108) (Bet $100 to collect $192)  DraftKings has the best odds

Brandon Belt Double (+500) (Bet $100 to collect $600) FanDuel has the best odds

So far, we are 1-for-1 betting on Brandon Belt doubles this season, and now we’re getting an even better price. The last time we made this bet, it was in a very similar situation, where Belt was facing a pitcher he had plenty of experience against, who also happened to really struggle against left-handed hitting. Luckily for us, Lance Lynn fits that description for tonight’s matchup.

Belt is hitting .389 against Lynn in his career, going 7-18. You also have to remember that this is a better iteration of Lynn, a more dominant pitcher. Lynn is allowing a .345 OBA to opposing left-handed hitters this season, with a .655 SLG. Lynn has allowed at least six hits in eight of his last 11 starts, along with three or more earned runs allowed in his last six starts. Belt normally gets bumped up in the order against susceptible right-handed pitching. I think pitchers would rather deal with him than Vladimir Guerrero Jr/Bo Bichette/Matt Chapman/ Alejandro Kirk, etc.

Osvaldo Bido is one of the more obvious no-win targets on the slate, going up against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He’s never won a career start and has only made it out of the fourth inning twice. On the other side, Bobby Miller is 4-1 and has been absolutely amazing this season. Some of the lesser-known Dodgers bats are finally starting to get going as well, with some promising performances from James Outman and David Peralta recently, behind the obvious Mookie Betts/Freddie Freeman combo. I trust the Dodgers to close out this series with a win behind their young stud.
