When it comes to consistency and resiliency, you would be hard-pressed to argue that there are more than a handful of teams this season who have shown such a high level of both of those things as the Texas Rangers have. I have been ranting and raving about this squad and what they are building down there in Texas since last season, and so far, they have not disappointed whatsoever. Tonight they are in Boston for the rubber game of this three-game series, and I like the squad from the Lone Star State to bounce back and take this one.

Boston Red Sox vs. Texas Rangers Prediction
The lineup has been electric. There is legitimately no need to dive into individual stats and slash lines, the whole squad, top to bottom, wants to win. They are hungry and aggressive at the plate. They stay relentless and are capable of doing damage at any time in a game, regardless of the situation or score. Texas still leads the league in run differential, and the split is not lopsided. They score just as well on the road as they do at home and have been excellent coming off a loss.
Jacob DeGrom going down for the season was a concern for a minute but no longer than that in my eyes. Jon Gray, Dane Dunning, and Matt Perez have all been excellent, and tonight another great arm in the rotation has the ball. Nathan Eovaldi was just named to the American League All-Star team and faces his former squad at Fenway Park tonight. I can assure you the stud right-hander will be gassed up and ready to go tonight. So far, in this 2023 campaign, Eovaldi is 10-3 through 17 starts with a phenomenal 2.64 ERA and a sub-one WHIP.
