It feels great to be back for the second half of the MLB season. Over the last couple of days, I can't lie; I was bored.
We won't have to worry about that again.
Apple TV+ will feature two MLB games tonight. You can catch the Giants-Pirates and Dodgers-Mets matchups on the platform tonight. Therefore, I've made two same-game parlays for those specific games on the slate.
Let's earn some profit to begin the second half of the season.
MLB Same-Game Parlays for Friday
Giants vs. Pirates Same-Game Parlay

- Ji-Man Choi Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140)
- Rich Hill Under 4.5 K's (+114)
- Carlos Santana Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)
Ross Stripling will get the start for the Giants. I don't expect him to go very deep in this game. However, he's been awful against lefties over the last 30 days, and I still want to exploit that.
Stripling has allowed a .400 ISO and wOBA of .450 to his last 11 lefties. He's allowed 75% of fly balls and 25% of line drives and hasn't earned one ground ball against a lefty over the last month.
Ji-Man Choi has hit a .444 ISO and wOBA of .473 with 11.1% of strikeouts against righties over the last 30 days. Carlos Santana has hit a .200 ISO and wOBA of .316 against righties in the previous 30 days. Both are left-handed sluggers that have pop.
On the other hand, Rich Hill will pitch for the Pirates. He's struggled a little bit against righties over the last month. But his strikeout percentage has also dropped in the previous 30 days. He'll face a Giants lineup that doesn't have much power. But they're putting the ball in play and have struck out only 18.9% of the time against lefties in the last month.
I'll take Hill's Under on strikeouts too.
Dodgers vs. Mets Same-Game Parlay

Justin Verlander will get the start to begin the second half of the season for the Mets. Verlander has only struck out 19.4% of batters in the last month.
He'll take on a Dodgers projected lineup that has only struck out 20.5% of the time this year. They've got three batters striking out 25% or more against righties, but the rest of the lineup has limited strikeouts to 20.3% or less against righties.
Verlander's going to struggle to rack up strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Julio Urias will get the start for the Dodgers. He's a lefty who has struggled against both sides of the plate this year. Righties have hit a .214 ISO and wOBA of .334 against Urias throughout the season.
Urias has since returned from an injury. But Tommy Pham is hitting a .412 ISO and wOBA of .511 against his last 20 lefties, while Mark Canha has slugged a .353 ISO and wOBA of .492 against his last 25 lefties. Both of those right-handed bats should have success putting the ball in play.
