Well, The MLB All-Star break was a memorable one, with the National League team finally breaking their nine-year losing streak to the American League. However, that is all talk of the past now, as every team in the league kicks off the second half of their season tonight. There are a lot of great matchups on the board tonight and money to be made all over, so I am going to end the prologue here today. Let's dive into the wagers.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Washington Nationals Prediction
The matchup I'm diving into this evening is the clash between the Washington Nationals and the St. Louis Cardinals. St. Louis has arguably had the most disappointing season of any squad in the league so far this year, considering the talent they possess and the sustained success the organization has continued for as long as they have. Still, currently, that is not the case.
The Cardinals are 38-52 and dangerously on the verge of missing the playoffs and having parts of the team gutted at the trade deadline. This squad has so much talent and can be elite, but the injury woes, mental errors, and pitching concerns have killed this team, and if they do not jump to life fast, the ship will sink.
They know that heading into this weekend's series at home against a Washington Nationals squad even worse than them, although they were supposed to be. Washington is rebuilding, and at 36-54 without any aspirations to contend this year (and likely next), I have to believe the Cardinals jump at this opportunity to kickstart a run.
Regardless of if they do, both squads are throwing arms on the mound tonight that have had average seasons at best, and with the way these squads have been playing this year, at least one, if not both, are capable of conceding plenty of runs tonight.
