Last night the Atlanta Braves and Arizona Diamondbacks combined for 29 runs in a slugfest at Truist Park, and I would not be surprised if we saw a similar result tonight. Both clubs rank inside the top ten teams in the league in regard to putting runs on the board this season, and I expect another strong performance offensively from these two squads.

Atlanta Braves vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction
Virtually every baseball fan in the country is aware of just how lethal this Atlanta Braves offense is, and with the talent they possess, the results they have had this season are justified. Every superstar on the team is contributing right now and helping them build on their +145 run differential they are sporting this season, the third best in the league.
Tonight they face Ryne Nelson, who is sporting an ERA just shy of five at a 4.98 and a 1.44 WHIP; considering they were able to score 13 runs last night and still lost by a handful of runs, I really expect the guys in that lineup to put their foot on the gas early and not let up.
It is embarrassing to lose at home but more embarrassing to give up 16 runs while doing so. I know Charlie Morton should be a stiffer challenge for this Diamondbacks squad, but I love the way they are playing, and after scoring as much as they did last night, it is hard to expect them not to contribute tonight. We have another hot summer night in Atlanta with similar conditions, and I like another high-scoring affair in Georgia.
