Since June 25th, Graham Ashcraft has earned three consecutive quality starts, allowing only three runs in over 18 innings of work. It looks like the 25-year-old has finally turned a corner in 2023. After putting up a 2.10 ERA in April, Ashcraft battled through injury in the following months and was eventually put on the IL. He’s put up three quality starts in four outings since returning from the IL.
Yes, the Giants are in the midst of their best stretch of the season. They’ve played so well of late, the media hasn’t even gotten the chance to talk about their run in the NL West. San Francisco is only 1.5 games back of Los Angeles but will be fighting an uphill battle to narrow the gap tonight against Ashcraft.
Ashcraft has good success in a limited sample size against the Giants.
