I have recieved so many messages lately that the people miss these. Although they juiced them up this year, I see value sometimes even with the extra juicy lines. This is one of those times.
Seattle Mariners vs. Minnesota Twins Prediction
This one will really be short because it’s a play based on math and hit rates. The Seattle Mariners have failed to score in the second inning in eight straight games. The Minnesota Twins have failed to score in the second inning in nine of their last ten games. Both hit rates are phenomenal and are great signs that this bet has value.
Let's get into the pitchers here. For Seattle taking the bump is Luis Castillo. He has been lights out this year with a 2.96 ERA and an even more impressive 2.65 home ERA. The Minnesota bats are a lifetime 4-20 against him, which is only good for a .200 batting average.
On the bump for Minnesota is Kenta Maeda. He has an overinflated ERA due to one very, very poor start against the New York Yankees, but he’s overall serviceable. Seattle bats are a lifetime 7-46 against him which is just over a .150 batting average.
This game has the lowest total on the slate and we get to more than likely avoid scary bats like Julio Rodriguez and Carlos Correa. Six outs and a dream might be the most fun bets to sweet. Let's roll, baby!
