MLB Parlay Picks Today: Targeting Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles

Our second play on the diamond tonight is two leg parlay that has some really great value for us when we throw them together, so that is exactly what we are going to do.

MLB Parlay

Leg 1: Oakland Athletics vs. Houston Astros

The read here is simple: the Houston Astros are a significantly better baseball team with a lot more to play for and the much better starting pitcher. J.P. France has never faced the Oakland Athletics before but has been solid this season with a 3.31 ERA and a 4-3 record through 70 & 2/3s innings work. Hogan Harris has the ball for Oakland, sporting a 6.51 ERA and WHIP just shy of 1.5 through 47 innings of work. Houston has been relatively successful against any Southpaw they have seen in recent years, so I expect them to try to start this series off with a strong offensive performance. Oakland just took the final two games against the Boston Red Sox, so Houston should be aware not to sleep on them too hard in this one.

Leg 2: Tampa Bay Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles

The Tampa Bay Rays have one of the best home records in baseball, but they are just 3-11 in the month of July and truly spiraling. The Texas Rangers just swept them in a four-game series, and they now have to face another one of the American League's best and hungriest squads in, the Baltimore Orioles. Baltimore has been excellent at the plate all season, and now they face Tyler Glasnow, who they teed off against last month in an 8-6 win. I am keeping it simple here, trust the O's.
