NRFI Today - Oakland Athletics vs. Houston Astros Prediction

Sears will take on an Astros offense that will be without Jose Altuve and Yordan Alvarez, the team’s best two hitters. In the first five innings of the last two games, the Astros' offense has only totaled one run which hints at their struggles against starting pitching without their two stars. The Astros offense has cashed 65% of scoreless first innings this season and should bump that percentage after an outing against Sears here.

After Sears, the AL Cy Young favorite and first-inning phenomenon will take over against the worst offense in baseball. Coming into today, Valdez is 12-0 to the NRFI in all of his last 12 starts, which should heavily translate against the horrid Oakland A’s offense.
